JEANA YEJIN CHO
I am based in Los Angeles, exploring the depths of the art preparator/museum world. I seek opportunities to collaborate with artists who share the goal of bringing marginalized perspectives to the center.
Prior to art handling & AV installation, Jeana worked in the film industry for 6 years. She served as Production Designer for narrative shorts and unscripted content, and has had further experience as Art Director, Set Decorator, Art Department Coordinator, and Prop Fabricator on commercials, music videos, and features. Recently, Jeana has been seeking opportunities to apply her skills in the museum / immersive art world. With her creative eye, attention to detail, and enjoyment working with her hands, she quickly realized that art preparation and AV encompassed what she was looking for. Jeana is a recent graduate of The Broad’s Diversity Apprenticeship Program (DAP), having had opportunities to train and work at various museums throughout LA as an art preparator apprentice, with an emphasis in AV. She is currently working as a freelance Art Preparator and AV Technician in Los Angeles.
